Community sessions — everyone welcome Every Sunday, 4:00–6:00 PM at Uchikamado. No booking, no fee, no experience needed. Wear shoes you do not mind ruining and we will find you a pair of gloves.

The garden sits inland from the bay in the Uchikamado area of Beppu City, Oita Prefecture.

Getting here

By train

Beppu Station on the JR Nippō Main Line, then a local bus or taxi inland toward Uchikamado. Roughly 15 minutes by car from the station.

By bus

Kamenoi bus services run from Beppu Station toward the Uchikamado area. Ask us for the current stop — routes change seasonally.

From Oita Airport

About 40 minutes by airport bus to Beppu, then as above. Tell us your arrival time and we will help you plan the last leg.

Every Sunday, 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM at Uchikamado. Open to everyone. Cancelled only for typhoon warnings — check Instagram if the weather looks serious.

Site visits & delivery

Monday to Saturday by appointment, typically 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Early starts are normal in summer to avoid working plants in the midday heat.
